You called?

Where are you, Mommie Deerest?

This little beauty knows the sound of my voice

and comes when I call her. It has taken me

a year to get to this point with her. Yesterday,

she came down the mountain, all by herself, to

check me out. Several minutes later, Mommie

Deerest came, from the opposite direction,

to see if she might be missing something.

OMG, so you have a wild deer come at the sound of your voice...WOW. That is amazing as are your photos of her and her mom! It looks like you can get very close to your Patches or do you have a real high powered zoom?

I'm so amazed that in all my years of looking at wildlife I've never seen a piebald deer before. She is so lovely. Love that new photo, capturing her curiosity and trust... Congrats!
